myhalo participated as the electronics upcycling partner at the Singtel Door to Door E Waste Collection Drive held at Cactus and Sunrise Estate. The event was organised by Singtel in collaboration with Nanyang Polytechnic, the Peoples Association and ALBA.

Residents contributed a wide range of electronic items, including televisions, mobile phones, routers, cables, printers, electric fans and ovens. Throughout the collection, the myhalo team engaged residents on sustainable consumption practices and shared information on the e waste challenges in Singapore.

As part of our participation, myhalo provided free screen protectors to residents. This initiative reflects our commitment to reducing packaging waste and preventing unnecessary oversupply of materials.

We acknowledge and thank the Guest of Honour, Ms Nadia Ahmad Samdin, and Singtel Vice President for Sustainability, Andrew Buay, for attending the event. We would also like to recognise the Nanyang Polytechnic students and Singtel volunteers who supported the door to door collection.In this event, we manage to upcycle 32% of the mobiles and tablets that are originally intended for recycling.
