Community e-Waste Collection Drive

23 Nov 2024

myhalo teamed up with SingtelBedok CC (People’s Association), and ALBA to host a successful Community e-Waste Collection Drive across Bedok neighbourhoods, including The Bayshore, Costa Del Sol, and nearby landed estates. The drive encouraged residents to drop off old or faulty devices, including routers, phones, and even old TVs. Devices that were still in working condition were Upcycled and donated to low-income families in the Bedok area. The remaining devices were responsibly recycled through our Official Recycling Partner, ALBA.

The event saw a lot of traction, with Guest of Honour DPM Heng Swee Keat playing an active role in raising awareness of sustainable practices.

Residents came down to De-Clutter with us, bringing routers, old TVs, phones, and more, filling up the ALBA bins to the brim. In addition to e-waste collection, residents were able to take advantage of complimentary screen protectors and RescueAdvise consultations, where they learned valuable tips on extending the lifespan of their devices.

myhalo is proud to have been a part of this meaningful event. Together, we can work towards a world with zero e-waste.
